Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on bodywork practice that works with the body’s natural rhythms and connective tissue to help release tension and restore balance. The body is wrapped in a continuous web of connective tissue called fascia, which can become tight, twisted, or restricted due to physical injuries, repetitive strain, emotional stress, or long-held patterns in the body. These restrictions can affect how the nervous system functions and how comfortably the body moves and feels.
In the style of Craniosacral Therapy I practice, called Dynamic Body Balancing, we listen closely to the body and allow it to guide the session. Using very light touch, I help guide the body to unwind patterns of tension stored in the fascia and deeper tissues. This often includes myofascial unwinding, a process where the body naturally begins to release held tension and move in subtle ways as restrictions soften.
Rather than forcing change, the work supports the body’s own ability to reorganize and self-correct. As tension releases, the nervous system can shift into a more relaxed and regulated state. Many people experience a sense of deep relaxation, improved mobility, reduced pain, and a greater feeling of ease and connection within their body.
Each session is unique because the practitioner follows exactly what your body needs in that moment.
